Cannot remove server from pool :There are still OCFS2 file systems: [Server Pool File System], in the pool. : Oracle VM Manager

    Description:

Remove Server: "YOUR HOSTNAME"  from Server Pool: "YOUR POOL NAME" found for discovered Pool FS

    Message:

OVMRU_000036E Cannot remove server: "YOUR HOSTNAME", from pool: "YOUR POOL NAME" found for discovered Pool FS. There are still OCFS2 file systems: [Server Pool File System], in the pool.

    Reason :

Make sure that there are no repositories presented to the server when you attempt to remove it from the server pool. If this is the cause of the problem, the error that is displayed usually indicates that there are still OCFS2 file systems present

    Solution:

Check the repository of that perticular server. Right click and choose "present or unpresent " option and remove that server repositry from the pool. Then try to move or delete a host from Oracle VM Manager server pool.

Then Try to move host to unassigned folder or remove server pool. If it is working then done.
    If not ,

If a pool file system is causing the remove operation to fail, other processes might be working on the pool file system during the unmount. Try removing the Oracle VM Server at a later time.

If the server is still experiencing trouble accessing storage and all critical events have been acknowledged and you are still unable to remove it from the server pool, try to reboot the server to allow it to rejoin the cluster properly before attempting to remove it again.

If the server pool file system has become corrupt for some reason, or a server still contains remnants of an old stale cluster, it may be necessary to completely erase the server pool and reconstruct it from scratch. This usually involves performing a series of manual steps on each Oracle VM Server in the cluster and should be attempted with the assistance of Oracle Support.

At last, this is the working solution I found after hours of search and try, (http://blog.whitehorses.nl/2012/05/09/reset-an-oracle-vm-server/ ) (Thank you :) )

ssh to host that we want to remove. Then reset the oracle VM server settings.

    # service ovs-agent stop

    # rm -R /etc/ovs-agent/db

    # cd /etc/ocfs2/

    #  cp cluster.conf.orig cluster.conf

    # service ovs-agent start

Then must restart the host machine .

Then open VM Manager web , and move or delete the host :)

After that create new server pool and re-add all host machine.

    Done :) :) :)
